Sendinblue vs GetResponse – Best Price & Features Comparison

In this comparison of email marketing softwares Sendinblue vs GetResponse, we’ll find out which one has the best price and features.  Both have a remarkable collection of features, making it tough to decide. Many of the features Sendinblue offers are also available with GetResponse.

The question is, which one is best for you and your business?

In this comparison, I’ll be covering everything you need to know about both Sendinblue and GetResponse.  As you’ll find out, each email marketing software offers unique features that are very useful.  The pricing is also very different.  In fact, Sendinblue even has  a free plan.

About Sendinblue and GetResponse

Both of these platforms are familiar names in the email automation industry.  Sendinblue is a much newer company.  That being said, they should not be underestimated.

Sendinblue vs GetResponse – Best Price and Features Comparison

If you’re setting up automated emails for your email list, you’ll have no issues with either platform.  I personally use GetResponse.  Since they’re both free to try (more on that later), I recommend trying both.

Sendinblue

Sendinblue started as a business oriented platform.  It has since expanded.  It was founded in 2012 by Armand Thiberge and Kapil Sharma.

Sendinblue premiered on the market solely for transactional purposes.  The specializes in transactional emails.  They later expanded to become a general cloud-based marketing software.

Their company is primarily based out of France but they have offices in the US, Germany and India as well.

GetResponse

GetResponse is an industry leader in email marketing.  Since they were founded in 1998, they’ve grown massively.  GetResponse was founded in Poland by Simon Grabowski.  At the time, Simon only had $200 to his name.

You’ll find no shortage of features with GetResponse.  It is much more than just an email marketing software.  The hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers can vouch for this as well.

Features

To really find out which one is best, we need to compare the quality and quantity of features offered with each.

Both GetResponse and Sendinblue have the following features:

  • Autoresponder & sequence builder
  • A/B Testing
  • Drag & drop email editor
  • Landing page builder
  • GDPR entry fields/templates
  • Subscription forms
  • Lead scoring
  • Dedicated account manager (Enterprise plans)
  • Contacts and list management
  • Mobile app
  • Custom domain
  • Dedicated IP
  • Optimized sending time option
  • Analytics and statistics
  • E-commerce & WordPress integrations

Now here are the features unique to each platform:

  • 60+ email templates
  • Transactional emails and SMS
  • Heat map reports
  • Five-star support
  • Free plan with up to 300 emails per day

GetResponse
  • 500+ email templates
  • Webinars
  • Free Stock images
  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • Surveys
  • Instant chat support
  • Free 30 day trial including all features

As you can see, there are some notable differences between Sendinblue vs GetResponse.

If you are in e-commerce, you may like the transactional emails and SMS offered by Sendinblue.

On the other hand, webinars are extremely effective for selling information products. For those who are selling courses or higher ticket items, you may need webinars.

There are a few other smaller differences like the number of email templates offered. I never find myself using these anyway but many do.

One thing I’m really impressed with about GetResponse is their support. The instant chat overlays on the screen at all times. This means you always have quick access to it. On top of this, the support is really helpful and insanely quick to response. Most times they answer me within 15 seconds!

Pricing

Before comparing the price I’d like to point something out. These are both super afforable services. I’ve done my research. What I can tell you is that they are both way cheaper than most competitors.

Nonetheless, this comparison is of Sendinblue vs GetResponse so I won’t be taking competitors in to account here.

It’s quite clear that both services have a ton of features!

This makes comparing Sendinblue vs GetResponse much more difficult…

One thing that sucks about the Sendinblue pricing is that you don’t get landing pages until the $71/month plan.

This was a big one for me. I love the GetResponse landing page builder. I even canceled my ClickFunnels membership. Once I realized how much better it is it made no sense to pay for ClickFunnels.

GetResponse Landing Pages
There are lots of pre-designed landing page templates with GetResponse.

Another thing I like about GetResponse landing pages is that they’re faster than ClickFunnels. My ClickFunnels landing pages used to take over 3 seconds to load. GetResponse landing pages load in just 2 seconds.

As for the Sendinblue landing pages, they are easy to build which I like. There aren’t quite as many elements to choose from however. The customization enough to build a nice looking page though.

Which Is Best?

It was a good little battle between Sendinblue vs GetResponse. Overall they both put up a good fight.

Sendinblue – Best If Free Plan Is Enough For You

If you’re just getting started with email marketing, Sendinblue may be the one for you.

Review the free plan again and ask yourself, is it enough for what you’re doing?

For anyone who has a small email list it may be enough. As you grow your list, consider GetResponse. Also, if you need more than basic emailing then again GetResponse may be better.

That being said, you can’t go wrong with FREE! Test it out and see if you like it. You literally have nothing to lose!

The exception to this is if you need transactional emailing/SMS. In this case, I would actually recommend Sendinblue over GetResponse. They’ve specialized in it since the beginning and they know what they’re doing.

GetResponse – Best Overall

I believe that GetResponse wins overall because they offer the best features. The value is even a little better in my opinion. The free plan from Sendinblue is great and all. But for just $15/month you can get a whole lot more.

There is another aspect I haven’t mentioned. This is something serious email marketers need to consider. And that is the email deliverability. Many people don’t know that the email platform you use does affect deliverability. Emails using GetResponse have had a lasting reputation of almost always ending up in the primary inbox.

Are your emails going to the spam folder?

I’m not saying all emails sent using Sendinblue end up in spam. That’s not the case at all. I’m just saying that GetResponse has built a reputation for not ending up in spam. The deliverability of Sendinblue vs GetResponse is difficult to compare using factual evidence. This is because there isn’t really any evidence at all!

Also, since GetResponse is so popular, you’ll have no problem integrating it with just about anything. This is handy for many people.

Remember, you can still try GetResponse for FREE too. The 30 day trial gives you complete access.

Conclusion

To wrap it all up, I just want to say that both of these companies are exceptional. The service they offer is excellent. Even though I use and prefer GetResponse, that’s just what I’m used to.

Comparing Sendinblue vs GetResponse seemed like a great idea to me. This is because I’ve enjoyed both of them a lot. Hopefully you have a better idea of which one is best for you!
